Meet Andrea Davila on her way to the crown for Miss Culture

The D Fashion Magazine  is covering the event Miss Culture and Beauty. We Interviewed with one of the contestent Miss Andrea Davila took her views on how she see her chance of the crown and about events progress.

D Fashion:  If you could have a super power. What would it be and why?
Andrea: There are so many that I would like to have, but I think I would choose the power to control the weather. I know it's something that carries a huge responsibility, but I would like to use it to make happy moments last longer and spend more time with the ones I love.
Plus it would be great to be able to change certain tragic events throughout history and around the world. I consider it a power of great impact in every way.

D Fashion:   What are you passionate about in life?
Andrea: I love this question. I am passionate about everything, and I really hope I never stop. I believe that every day life amazes us from the little things.
However, if I had to talk about something I am passionate about, it would be the mountains, and in Ecuador there are many and very beautiful ones. I have always found its landscapes to be incredible and being able to be alive and healthy to walk them fills me with satisfaction, gratitude to God and the desire to continue living.

D Fashion:  How would you describe your personality?
Andrea: I am a very positive, creative person who would love to get out of my comfort zone. I would like to transmit this positive energy through my smile to everyone I meet and create an impact on them.
On the other hand, getting out of my comfort zone has led me to face different challenges that with creativity and a lot of desire I have always managed to overcome.

D Fashion:  Do you think that social networks have a negative impact on young women's self-esteem?
Andrea: Like everything in life, I think that social networks can be both negative and positive, depending on how they are used. While it is true that social networks have lately become a very important communication tool during the pandemic, however, the excessive use of them can have a negative impact on users.
This is not necessarily the fault of the social network as such, this points to something much more important, which are the causes why young people lack self-esteem and are influenced by what they find in these media.

D Fashion:  In case of winning the crown, how would you use this international title to help others?
Andrea: Enter this type of contest in order to give a voice to those who don't have one. I would like to represent and work for the vulnerable sectors of the population, specifically women and join their constant struggle for gender equality.

I want to work together with them to provide them with a better quality of life, confidence in themselves and with this collaborate with the fulfillment of goal number 5 of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Team D Fashion is wishing her great success in the event.
