Jewish Brazilian cosmetics magnate and O Boticario's Founder Donates tons of GEL ALCOHOL to Curitiba

 Miguel Krigsner, O Boticário’s Founder and President, has announced a donation of 1.7 tons of gel alcohol to the Curitiba municipal health department.

The donation to the Brazilian city, O Boticário’s base, is said to be a way for the company to be part of the fight against coronavirus, with the gel set to be used as a hand sanitizer ingredient. 

Talking to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, "Our essence is to be agents of transformation in everything we do. If we save a life, we save humanity. This is Judaism."
 
O Boticário is the latest beauty company to offer up products or manufacturing capabilities as part of the relief efforts against COVID-19. 
 
Krigsner said, "Our company was born in Curitiba and we have a huge affection for this city. We believe that through this donation we will be able to minimize the anxiety and pain of many people."
